Interlude is the most popular chronicle for Lineage 2 private servers. It has everything players love about L2: third classes, subclasses, Noblesse, the Grand Olympiad, castle and fortress sieges, and the epic bosses Antharas, Valakas, Baium and Frintezza. Its balance has been tested by twenty years of play, which is why more new Interlude servers open than any other.
Interlude servers come in every flavour: low-rate x1–x10 with long levelling and a living economy, mid-rate x50–x100 where a clan can grow into sieges within a couple of weeks, and PvP projects x1000 and higher where a character is ready in one evening. Many servers are "Interlude+", with items and zones from later chronicles.
The list above shows announced and recently opened Interlude servers with start dates in UTC, open beta tests and bonus starts. A moderator checks every server before it is published, and each row links straight to the project's official website.
For a long game with a valuable economy, choose x1–x10. If you have little time but want sieges and clans, x50–x100. For fast PvP with almost no levelling, x1000 and higher.
Plain Interlude follows the original chronicle. Interlude+ adds items, zones and quality-of-life features from later chronicles while keeping Interlude classes and mechanics.
OBT is an open beta test before the launch: you can look at the server in advance, and progress is usually wiped. A bonus start is a fresh start of an already running server with gifts for newcomers.
